As we love Altai and travel there many times a year with our guests, we couldnt resist to take part in the 8th international photo contest “Live nature of Altai”. We do have a lot of opportunities of course to take pictures on wild and remote locations, different times and the more you are there, the more chances you have to encounter the beautiful wild animals in Altai.

Today the Award ceremony of the contest was held in Barnaul. We are happy and very pleased that we are among the winners.

Jaap’s picture “Love story” with the mating ritual of the cranes has got the 3d prize in the category “Flora and fauna”. Yevgenia’s photo of a very rare Sailugem bear was rewarded with the 3d prize in the category “Reserved Altai”.

We are honoured we received both the 3rd price in the categories, and we want to thank the organizers that they spent so much time to organise this contest and of course for the nice books, cards, cup and many other things we received.

The exhibition of the best pictures will move along. Very soon it will be on display in the Ust-Koksa district of the Altai Republic. It will travel till the end of the year in Altai so people can get acquinted with the beauty of Altai and attracting more attention to the issues of nature preservation.
