Kaichi Travel at ITB Berlin 2018
Five days at ITB Berlin just flew away like one and we returned very happy with the results.
ITB Berlin 2018 was able to reaffirm its standing as the World’s Leading Travel Trade Show. More than 10,000 companies and organisations from 186 countries and regions exhibited their products in 26 halls to around 170,000 visitors, including 110.000 trade visitors.
It was really nice to meet the colleagues and friends from last year. And of course we made a lot of new acquaintances. We are thankful to all visitors of our boot that we could not only promote our region and tours but could get feedback, learn demands and expectations from the first hand. It will help and inspire us in our future trips that we will put together.
We had promising negotiations with the tour operators and agencies from Germany, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, the USA and Belgium. All of them have a strong demand for trips to the remote places with outstanding Russian nature and are much impressed by the pictures from Altai. Saturday and Sunday were days for public visitors. Some of them already knew Altai and had planned their trip, other visitors just discovered a new and very special destination – Altai. But everybody was convinced that Altai is worth visiting, maybe not this year but for now they added a trip to the beautiful Altai mountains to their wish list.
